一、Project Background and Pain Point Resolution

As the largest middle school in Furong District, Furong Middle School attached to Hunan Normal University has 50 classes and more than 2300 students, and the burden of physical education is heavy. The construction of its "smart playground" project directly points to the core pain points of campus sports at present:

· The data of physical education teaching process is missing, and the accumulation of training data is almost zero;   

· Sports test, competition and examination results rely on manual records, which is time-consuming and laborious;

·Physical education teachers are insufficient, and students lack immediate feedback and interest in sports;

· Educational administrative departments lack a unified sports management platform.


二、Core construction scheme and technical support

Relying on artificial intelligence, big data and Internet of Things technology, the project has constructed a "smart playground" system covering solid ball, standing long jump, pull-ups, sit-ups, sprints and other projects. Through the "six-dimensional panoramic scheme" to achieve "teaching, learning, testing, training, evaluation, competition integration" closed-loop, to achieve the core path of "three drives":

1.Driven by "wisdom": precise service of the whole chain

Hardware overlay:Install AI intelligent sports technology facilities in the sports area, build intelligent test stations, intelligent test points, supporting intelligent wearing equipment, to achieve real-time collection and analysis of sports performance, posture and process.
Data integration:Build a data management platform to get through the scene data of teaching, physical testing, examination and competition, and provide data support for teaching optimization and physical fitness monitoring.


2. Lead with "Fun": Activate

Multiple scenarios:Embedded in self-assessment, collective challenges, classroom learning and other scenarios, students can enhance their interest by winning the weekly championship and participating in interesting challenges.
Scientific evaluation:Combining with the national students'physical health standards, through AI means such as movement posture recognition and intelligent analysis, we can help students make up for their shortcomings accurately and let "small glasses" and "small fat piers" fall in love with sports actively.


3.Empowering with "New": Building a New Sports Platform of Intelligence and Interest

Resource innovation:Develop digital teaching resources, physical education teachers record video courseware such as basketball and aerobics to support students'autonomous learning after school.

1.Students: The enthusiasm for sports has been significantly improved, the life between classes has been enriched, and independent exercise has become the norm.
